Aside from the white sand , the Calumbuyan Island offers the most beautiful coral reef of the Calamian Group. The virgin coral reefs are just steps away from the shore. The marine life is bountiful, with different colors of fishes and corals.
Coron is not only known for its reputation as a great diving site but for its gorgeous beaches as well. Aside from Kayangan Lake that's one of the cleanest lakes in Asia, Banol Beach has definitely made me fall in love with Palawan.
Banol Beach is most well-known amongst Coron Island beaches. It is known for its two beaches, Banol nga Mabae or Big Banol and Banol ng Maite or Small Banol, and rock formations that are picturesque as well.
Kayangan Lake, Coron Island, Palawan, dubbed the cleanest lake in the Philippines, is surrounded by a karst scenery of limestone cliffs and guarded maintained by Tagbanua Tribesmen. Kayangan Lake is 70% freshwater and 30% salt water.
